I'm also very excited about the new novels by M.W. Craven and Riley Sager, they're my go-to authors! I've also seen there's a new novel by Laura Purcell soon, Moon Stone, which might be something.

I have only read two of her books so far and I loved The Corset, it's historical fiction. I hope to read a next one soon, I'm bumping it up my list!

Great list - have read so many great reviews of the Chris Whitaker since you wrote this! I must get up to date with his blacklist - ditto Washington Poe. I tend to use another app now to list my reading; I really should use Goodreads too. I wish they separated the books of the year into different countries though, due to the US numbers bias. Quite often the books aren't even available in the UK.

What do you mean about US numbers bias? I use Goodreads despite its many flaws haha

I've got a Charlie Donlea on my shelf that I need to finally try. Riley Sagers a good bet, too. :)

Great line-up! All five sound great, although I'm probably most excited about The Mercy Chair. I need more Tilly and Poe! <3
