I loved First Lie Wins! And I've had Hidden Pictures for ages so I think it's about time I read it. I've recently read Erin Young's The Fields and Original Sin - they both feature a character called Riley Fisher - and I raced through them. Your taste is very similar to mine! (Impeccable, obviously!) Oh yes, The House Of Mirrors by Erin Kelly is great - I'd recommend any of her books, tbh.

Thrillers in the summer are my favorite books to read. I loved In my dreams I hold a Knife from your list. Some other thrillers I've read in the summer - Too Good to be True by Carola Lovering, No Time for Goodbye by Linwood Barclay, Neon Lawyer by Victor Methos, Someone We Know by Shari Lapena

I've always enjoyed reading people's lists. Glad to see what made yours for summer thrillers. I've got a couple Riley Sagers on my TBR.

I haven't been in the thriller mood at all this year, but I've been hoping to change that! I have an ebook of First Lie Wins already waiting to be read, and I hope it surprises me as it did you. ๐Ÿ’–

First Lie Wins is excellent Ani! I hope that you love it!

P.S. Why do I have to receive an email each time to post to this website. Itโ€™s not convenient and discourages me from posting.

I'm looking forward to read both First Lie Wins and Hidden Pictures! Especially the second, because I loved his other book The Impossible Fortress.

Summer thrillers make me think of the Finlay Donovan books, which are always so much fun to read. The Dive by Sara Ochs was great with a Thailand setting, and The Castaways by Lucy Clarke also has a tropical setting. Lucy Clarke in general has great thrillers with a travel element... I really enjoyed The Blue as well, which is set on a boat. There are more of course, but those were the first that popped up in my mind.

Ooh, I loved The Pact! Sharon Bolton can be a hit or miss for me, but when she's on form there's no one to beat her!

I read two of these, Last Time I Lied and The Pact. I loved Last Time I Lied most of all, but then I love all of Riley Sager's books (most of all). Difficult choice so I just looked at my top shelf and I picked The Nothing Man by Catherine Ryan Howard as my recommendation :-)
